From what I have read so far AOS takes time. Considering your CN will be current around June'ish you will have no margin for error. You might want to read through other threads related to AOS and see how it has gone for others. The processing center also plays a role in the time it takes to process your case, so read more about that. I personally would suggest that you do CP instead. Just my two cents...
I would go for CP. I don't trust USCIS, and some people on this forum got screwed this year. It your number was really low, then I would go for AOS, but not in your case.
