After the sniper case (the jamaican illegal dude), INS is getting hammered from media as well as congress representatives. May be INS is implementing more checks (simlar to IBIS) before adjudicating any more cases?

how efficient of them to slow down 1 month before finding
out the sniper was Jamaican. You would think that CSC would
speed up since the Jamaican was admitted in Florida and the
Center that admitted him would slow down.
Also they knew he was illegal and then they let him go. What
checks do you think they should implement to stop themselves
from letting illegal people go when they already know they are
illegal?
There are much fewer approvals because it is siesta time at
the INS CSC between now and February 2003. Dont look for a
deeper answer you will go insane.
