Closing the Job Order!!

Hello,

It's been about 40 days since my Company opened the Job Order for me.Do we need to close the Job order and only then the 30 day "Quiet period" begins for Interviewing and stuff??. Or it does not matter and only the 60 days that counts from the day you open the Job order.

better close the order - my lawyer recommended this to avoid confusing the system.

Thanks for the response. Would there be any technicality problem if i would still go ahead and apply after 60 days of Job order without closing the Job order on the 30th day.

since non of us wrote the PERM software, who knows?
better be safe - you only 'lose' 10 days.
