Clearance Letter for CP

DO I need Clearance Letter (police crime check) from USA to do my green card CP? I have been living here for more than 4 years. Thank you
 
Hi Tony,
You should have received a letter from National Visa Center, Portsmounth, NH and a list of items that you need to submit to the Conselor Office. If you are going for CP in India then you need police clearance from india and finger print report from FBI. Thanks,
