Hi,

Would appreciate it if you could get back to me on the following questions.

Part-10 GoodMoral Character - Do we need to list offences only in the last 5 years (Since we got our greencard) or since we came to this country

Thanks in advance for your response

Given that the official record goes back to your first immigrant visa, not only to your permanent residency, I would counsel you to include all records. Everything I read and hear says: honesty; honesty; honesty. In most cases the risk of being "found out" by the USCIS is potentially far more serious than the "offences" themselves. This assumes, of course, that we are talking about traffic violations etc. If you have more serious records, consult a lawyer.

Read the questions. They start "Have you ever..." with the "ever" bolded. I think they mean what they say. If you were arrested as a minor ten years before you immigrated to the US, you should mention it.

If you have a really valid concern, talk to a lawyer. All you will get here (well at least from me) is advice to "answer the question as asked" and "tell the truth"
