clarification on plastic card ...

Hi Guys,

Last monday I received my welcome letter.

Yesterday I received my plastic card along with another welcome letter.

In my plastic card and welcome letter, my name is printed as

LASTNAME, FIRSTNAME.

Is that the case for everybody????

My wife and myself entered POE through NEWARK, NJ on Sept 12, 2004.

Our passports have 1-551 stamp valid for 1 year.

Till date, My wife has not received neither welcome letter nor plastic card.

Anybody in the similar boat or with similar experiences where one of the
family members received the card/welcome letter earlier than the other ????

When can my wife expect a physical card ??

{I think this is pretty normal. Even thought the entry happens at the
same time,I think the files are processed seperately}

I agree with RAju. Same thing happened with me. Mine came first and my wife's came after 3-4 days. It could even take more day or less in your case. Even more funny in my case was We received the plastic card first and welcome letters came (Total - 3 for each of us) after 10 days.

NO one knows or have figured out how they work ? So relax, your wife will get it soon.
 
Further to update the thread,

Today my wife received her plastic card.
Last week she received 2 welcome letters.
