I need guidance regarding question 15b on the N-400 application (“Have you EVER been ar**ed, cited, charged, ... for any reason by any law enforcement official…”).
My wife previously received a traffic ticket in Washington State with the following details
A) Deferred finding for one year
B) Conditions: 150 payment, no new violations for one year, after which the infraction was be dismissed
When we filed our I-485, we informed our lawyer about this, and was advised that since the fine was less than $500, we did not need to mention it and to check "no". Based on that, we answered “No” to the question.
Now, as we prepare the N-400, I noticed my wife’s name and the ticket still appear on the Washington Courts website
Could someone please advise:

Could someone please advise:
- How should we answer question 15b on the N-400?
- If we answer “Yes” now, would that be considered inconsistent with the I-485 (or viewed as misrepresentation)?
- If we answer “No,” could that raise an issue since the citation is visible in the public record?
