Hello,
I got your contact from the Immigration.com forums. I would appreciate if you could clarify on this aspect regarding h1b trasfer.
I am currently on my h1b. I am comtempalting on switchng to another employer who is offering a permanent job.
The new employer does not seem to be very familir with the h1b process. They mentioned that I can talk to their attorney. They also say that Perm. processing is NOT necessay. But I am pushing for it.
Question 1:
When I talk to their attorney, What questions should I ask to ensure that they dont mess up? Can some one explain what this company & its lawers have to do to get my h1b transfer done. I just want to be aware of the full process when I talk to their attorney.
Question2:
Also wanted some pointers on how I can convince them for Prem processing. ?
I feel getting prem. processing done, getting the final approval in 15 days, then giving notice to my current employer is the safe way to go.
