I need a clarification regarding F1-H1 Stamping in Canada/Mexico. I am in my OPT and it expires on Oct 1st, 2005. I have been working since last November and I have an Approved H1, starting Oct 1st, 2005. Is it possible to go for stamping prior to Oct 1st, 2005?, or are there any restrictions for the same? I need to go to India immediately after Oct 1st, and i wanted to know if i could get the stamping in advance.
On a related note, i would also like to know how to schedule an appointment with either of these consulates, and based on experience, which would be a better place to go.
