Clarification needed for spouse I-485 stamping

I got a courtesy copy to get stamped in the passport.
However my spouse has got a courtesy copy with welcome notice
and the card will be mailed in 2 to 3 weeks.

I am planning to go and get stamping in the passport this wednesday.Can i take my spouse along with me with welcome
notice we got and get stamping in the passport.

What are the odds that security people will not allow my spouse
inside for stamping ?

Your views will be very much needed .
