Claiming unemployment on EAD

Hi,
What are pros and cons of claiming unemployment on EAD. Any complications?

I have been on EAD for last 5+ years.
Green Card PD - Dec 2001
 
Unemployment compensation is an earned benefit. It will not affect your GC or future citizenship. Be sure to take advantage of the services offered by the state's employment office. Some are required to receive payments but others are helpful in locating a new position and getting an interview.
