Claiming disability during pregnancy

Our GC got approved recently. My wife is expecting in couple of months. For how many months can she claim disability ??? and is this the employer or Labor Dept ????. Appreciate your thoughts in this regard
 
Unemployment benefits are through labor department, Disability insurance benefits are through insurance, so contact your employer for details.
 
If your wife's employer has its own short term disability insurance then she can claim that through her employer.

If they do not have an insurance, she can claim it from labor department in NJ.
