Cityzenship interview-RFE for employment docs

Hi,

I and my wife have got employment based Green cards in 2005. Recently we had citizenship interview after completion of 5 years as GC holders.

I was asked how did I get my green card and did I work for my employer. I said I did not, because when doctor offered me job(future employment) as Medical assistant it was taking about 2 to 3 years and my case took about 10 years. So doctor got retired by then. So I took crash courses in computers and worked as programmer at other employers. Officer typed these questions and answers and made me to initial and sign on that paper. Then he asked me to send in certified mail with 1) proof of employment for 2004 and 2005, 2) proof that doctor (petitioner) was retired in 2005, 3) proof of computer classes. Also he mentioned that he will put my wife citizenship also on hold, because she got Greencard through me.
But she was interviewed by different officer on the same day and given congrats letter and told that she will receive information in mail for Oath. We have contacted couple of attorneys, one mentioned that she will get letter for Oath and another lawyer said she won’t till my case is cleared.
But now doctor is still working at the age of around 68 years. What kind of information I should submit to USCIS.
I was wondering that any body had any thing similar or close to it!
Any smart ideas in submitting letter from doctor and docs to USCIS without contradicting words given in sworn statement retired and did not work for him.
If I want to get letter from doctor, what should letter state.
Thanks in advance
KK

Are you saying your employment-based green card was filed for a Medical Assistant job, but after leaving the sponsoring employer you never worked in that type of job again while waiting for the green card, nor after the green card was approved?

If that's the case, chances are 95% that you'll be denied. Both your green cards are also in jeopardy. They're just asking you for more information so they can put together a more solid case for the denial and decide whether to revoke the green card.
But now doctor is still working at the age of around 68 years.
Did the doctor retire for a while and then return to work? If that's what happened and you're going to get a letter from the doctor, it should state when he retired and when he returned to work. But the way your case is going, maybe it's better if you just forget about the case and don't send anything, and hope they will do nothing more than just deny it. To me it looks like they're asking you for more documentation so they can build up better evidence for taking you to court to revoke your GC. Because any additional documentation you provide is only going to substantiate that you didn't fulfill the requirements of the GC; it's not likely to help you.

If the officers who interviewed you and your wife communicated about your cases, they're not going to approve hers if they don't approve yours.
