I applied for citizenship in nov 2001 and i did not get it and then had a second interview in oct 2005 and they told me you still going through a background check...

I am thinking of suing them but the lawyer is asking minimum of 5000 dollars
what can i do?
 
You need to update the title such as background check pending or something.
