We have our oath ceremony coming up at the Masonic center in San Francisco, wondering ....are we allowed to take our kids with us for the ceremony? Is it better to apply for the passport at the oath ceremony or later?
I believe you can take kids (just make sure they behave so the rest of the people can enjoy the ceremony). Some people think it is better to apply for the passport later so you have time to scan or photocopy your certificate and sign it at your own leisure before you send it away for the passport.
