my mom is in india. And she has her N-400 interview in a few weeks. She wants to reschedule the interview; and so we submitted a request for rescheduling. But the USCIS says that the reschedule request could take up to 4 months for a response; which is well past even the interview date. In this scenario, what are our choices ? She is sick also a bit; and USCIS has strict guidelines that one should not go for interview if the person is sick. So if we don't hear back regarding the rescheduling request, should we show up at the USCIS office and tell the counter person that the candidate is sick ?
