Citizenship Interview-Post Decision Activity

Hi Every one!

I had my interview On July 17, 2012. IO was very nice and professional. Interview went very smoothly, at the end handed over to me N-652 and congratulate! and marked:

a. You have passed the English and U.S. history and government.

b. Congratulations! Your application has been recommended for approval. At this time, it appears that you have established your eligibility for naturalization. If final approval is granted, you will be notified when and where to report for the oath ceremony.

c. IO told me that due to your name change, your case needs Supervisor,s approval. After 2 days online status changed "POST DECISION ACTIVITY" and remarks (On July 19, the Supervisor review of your case was completed. We will mail you a notice once a final decision has been made. Please wait to receive the notice before you contact
USCIS.
Approx 70 days have been passed, so for I did not received any letter in mail.

I will appreciate any advise.

Call USCIS using following method and ask for the reason.

POJ Method Described:

Call 1-800-375-5283.
Then choose 1-2-2-6-1
Enter your receipt no
Then -1
Listen to blah blah blah
Then press 3
Then press 4.
You will hear: “Welcome to TSC” --This is the confirmation that you are now connected to TSC.
Talk to rep, don’t annoy, be polite and to the point. Don’t repeat the questions to which he/she has already answered. Listen carefully.

Suggestion: Better try on Thursdays.

Also confirm their replies by using this method again at different times of the day so that you don’t get same agent.

I called USCIS accordingly, Officer was very polite, recommended me to wait till October 17. otherwise call us back after October 17 and we will send a note to Interviewing office.
