My parents age 69 and 63 and ready to file for citizenship from NYC. I have seen many people get delayed due to name check and FP. Does anyone know if senior citizens get through any quicker than younger people. Currently NYC timeline is over a year.
My another question is that is it true that one can apply for the citizenship 3 months before their 5th year on the GC date.
