Citizenship eligibility grey areas

I have interesting situation that many of you do not. It will be nice if you can help me or give some pointers.

Citizen eligibility summary

I have been a LPR for nearly 5 years now. I went through the 'naturalization' guide and believe I fulfill the requirements for becoming a citizen.

What is different for me ?

I left to India after being physically present in the US for 38 months(on GC). I have been temporarily working in India to physically and mentally support aging parents for the last 22 months. However, I ensured that I visited US once every 6 months.
On one occasion, I visited after 10 months(think, it should be ok since I can prove my intention NOT to abandon US residence).

I can elaborate further.

What do you think of my situation ? Any of you familiar with this scenario ? Do you think I should be able to get my citizenship ?

Do you maintain residence (own property or lease) at the current time, since at the time of applying you will need to fullfill 3 month residency requirment

Thanks for asking, Sri. I do not have a house. Certainly, I am planning to rent a house/apt to 'qualify' on the 3 month residency requirement(before filing the N400).
