She needs to wait until 5 years after the registration incident.
thank you all so very much for helping lift this stress off of us especially my girl she is breathing a lot easier today knowing
she is still able to do this. there are some things in life we regret doing this is one. one she never intended to do and though it
will cost money to do this the right way (lawyer affidavit, lawyer presence) we are certain of one thing we could not have done
this without your suggestions, ones lawyers would charge thousands for. USCIS failed to show her the other opportunities she
had and expects people to know these things but yet i still have faith the right thing will be done here. I as of today have sent
an attorney who just came back from active duty in need of work an email and hopefully he will be able to help out atleast with
the affidavit if not all of it. once again thank you all so very much and to any person who may be in these same shoes reading
this message i say to you...breathe easy and look at your options. post here if necessary and get the direction you need.
you are fortunate to have found this site which has guided us so much in this..
thank you all

Your wife has a high bar to clear with regards to this case. She need to prove that she misunderstood the instruction on the voter registration form. The BIA process is very costly, so save that money and no need to raid your 401(k) because you will need it when you retire..if it will still be there...Just wait another 5 years, just make sure she doesn't vote again, even it she's asked to vote in the PTA elections...
