CitizenShip Change after I-551 Passport Stamping ??

Folks,

I have a question re: this for my wife.
While our 485s were pending, my wife also managed to obtain British Citizenship (like I have). However her I-551 stamp (obtained earlier today) is on her Indian Passport (since she does not have her British Passport yet). My question is now that she has the I-551 stamp in her Indian passport, and lets assume the plastic "GreenCard" arrives shortly, what would happen if she gets a British Passport now ? I guess for travel purposes she would no longer need her Indian passport bearing the 551 stamp since the plastic card would serve that purpose. But would we have to notify the USCIS re: her British Passport (since the GC was obtained under her Indian Citizenship ?)

What (if anything) would we have to do in her case is she gets the British Passport ? Does the Greencard state the person's citizenship ? And does it matter if the person changes citizenship after obtaining the Greencard ?

Any responses much appreciated.

Thanks.

Wow dude you are rolling in all kinds of status. Most of us are happy to get one GC, but you have all bases covered - Britian, EU, USA and I am sure you dont want it but if you did mother India too!!! Truly a global citizen....

Seriously speaking, your wife's case is unique enough that forum members may not have experienced it. My only advice - consult a good immigration attorney on how to proceed.
