Citizenship case filed in Feb 2005

My wife's citizenship case was filed from Scarborough ON in Feb 2005. We forgot to add some supporting documents and signed photograph and sent them after a month with the letter containing the receipt number and a new application(incase the first application is returned due to incomplete documents). We received the initial acknowledgement in May 05 with a client id# for the first application. That client id number when used with the online status checker doesn't return anything. We also tried checking the status with the original receipt number but still no result. Any idea what could possibly be going on with this application? What is the turn around time for a test appointment these days for applications filed from Scarborough ON?

Thanks for your reply. I have seen the processing time page before. The only thing I am concerned about is that according to the chart the access status is supposed to be accessible after getting the acknowledgement but for us its been over 3 months since we received our acknowledgement letter but still can't see the status of our case.

Then phone the call centre: 1 888 242-2100

Try using your PR# instead of the client ID#.

I applied myself From Vancouver in Jan 2005...It took a while for it to appear online...and I am still waiting for a test appt.

Wait times are long

I applied Oct 2004. In Apr 2005, request for photos (prior sent with appn. were not good + some more papers like copy of all passports, visa etc). The case status stated showing up online in Apr 2005 as 'letter sent requesting more info'. Now 'Citizenship test scheduled Oct 2005'.

I think your status shows up only when they stat some action, like invitation to citizenship test etc.

Also try calling ans see what happens...

I also applied from Vancouver. Do you know when your file was transferred from the CPC to Vancouver? Mine was just transferred and I am wondering how long I should wait for the test appt.
