Does anyone know the typical background check time for citizenship? I had my interview on May 20th. I was told that my background check was not complete so my application is pending until the background check clearance. THey also told me that it will take 120 days maximum and final decision has to be made before that.
Recently a friend told me that he has been waiting for clearance for over two years now and there is still nothing.
Anyone had the same problem before? What can we do to check the status?
