Citizenship and Job Loss

I was laid off recently (after filing N400, fingerprinting etc.). In the meanwhile, I have my interview is scheduled for next month. The good news is that I have a potential job offer which I can take up after obtaining citizenship. So during the interview, I will be without a job, but with a job offer.

Does anybody have any information that will indicate adverse impact on citizenship (time frame especially) due to being umemployed at the time of interview. Any advise would be appreciated

Thank you.

As far as I know it doesnt matter.Employed or not is not the criteria at all for the US citizenship

Thanks for the feedback.

I guess if there is a question during the interview about my employer, I simply state my current situation (of having been laid off and with a potential job offer). Correct?
