I had my green card through asylum status,they suppose to back date my card for one year but they did not,they aproved me jan 2006 so the date in my card it should be jan 2005 but they dated jan 2006(uscis mistake). If i send my card for correction it takes more than a year i think. My question is when can i aplied for citizenship jan 2010-3 months and explain to them its mistake in card printing or jan 2011-3 months . THANK YOU ALL

Correct it, even if it takes a year... you don't have to worry since you already have GC approval Jan 2006 "so even if they take long time" patience is the key!

explaining the mistake at the time of citizen interview is not a preferable idea

you citizen application might be denied because of this error "you will be asked to file the citizenship application 1 year later... Jan 2011" :(
