My US Citizen brother petitioned for me 13 years ago. I just received DS 3032 in india. He has just received the approval of my petition which he is supposed to sign and send back. Unfortunately he is not in a position to sign it right now. How long can he hold off to signing the approved petition before it becomes invalid?

Please let me know soon.
 
he has 1 year from the day his priority date becomes current. Otherwise the petition is dead and then you will have to start all over again.
