Ciba Please Update - Case Transferred To La

We heard the bad news on the AVM that my husband\'s case has been transferred to Los Angeles. We are going to speak to our attorney to see if we can move it to Westminster. Another long wait.

ND - 1/01
EAD - 4/01
AP - 2/01
FP - 3/15/01
Case assigned to local office - 5/7/01

I do not know what I need to prepare now for.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Sorry to hear the transfer, Apshroff. The wait is going to be
painful for sure. I hope you can transfer your case to Westminister
office to shorten the wait.

Our case is very old. PD is 5/96. My husband\'s h1 expired in 2/2000. After that we tried to get o-1 which got denied the 1st time. In June I got f-1 status and he got f-2. He also has a dui citation and we had answered no to one of the questions, since we thought tht it was a traffic violation.

But, this is killing. Now, they will ask for everything. I am going to try and see if I can gt it transferred to Westminster.
