what are the valid ids acceptable at the time of Finger Prints other than Driver\'s license. I do not want to show my DL because the address on it(N. calif) does not match the address on my I-485(S. Calif) application. I fall under one of those cases where my company is in S. Cal and I live in N. Cal. Is just Passport ok.

Also, if the officer insists on DL, would it be a problem.

it does not matter. just show him ur drivers license and they usually do not check ur address. take ur passport also. These are not really INS officers who might harm your case. Dont worry. first show ur passport as ID and if they want just show your drivers license calmly. they asked me for my social security card but i did not have it - he did not bother.

Presenting passport as an ID is perfectly OK. There is no need to
show your driver licence if you don\'t want to.
