Could anyone clarify me on the difference b/w ND and RD?

Hi MP,

Can you also give me your country of origin? Your entry
will be added to the list shortly.

RD is the date on which INS physically receives your file,
and ND is the date on which your file is entered into their
computer system. The two dates are usually one week to one
month apart.

Notice Date and Received Date can be found on the application Notices.
( for e.g. 485 Appln, AP Appln. and EAD Appln.). The Dates of interest on this board is 485 Application Dates.
