Hi,
Has anybody done the file transfer from Consulate to INS, by filing OF-169 form. I mean it was sent to the Consulate eventhough CP was not mentioned(because of some provision on I-140) & then applied AOS. Anyone who has done it, please explain me the steps.
Some explanation. My file was in Bombay consulate. I sent them a email to find out whether my files were still there, as I had applied for AOS in April. They havereplied in a single sentence, return back of169 form.
Anybosy with similar experience or knowledge please share. Thanks in advance.
