Ciba: Dependant\'s case pending, any inputs?

My spouse, one child and myself got our approval letters today. But my son\'s case is yet not approved as per AVM. It still runs the same message about the receipt of the application. Could some one share their experience in this kind of situation. When should I be expecting it and can one do anything to speed it up.

I got my approval along with my son\'s about two months back. But my spouse and daughter\'s I-485 are still pending.
My lawyer sent in 2 enquiries but it has not yielded any results.

In such a situation, when your dependent are still awaiting approval,
can one still change jobs?? If yes, then what if your dependent
get an RFE for, say, the primary applicants pay stubs etc??

Any first hand experiences with such a situation.
