Ciba - AVM says case approved

GC approved - finally !!!

I could not believe it. I checked AVM yesterday and it said my and my wife\'s case has been approved on Feb 2nd. Now we wait for approval notices - I think we should get it in a week or so. Ciba could you please update my info on your site. Thank you and many others on this list for v v informative dialogues. I was one of those who had become current twice - so its a good news for all those in the same boat.

ND/RD Aug99/Sep99
PD retrogressed to April 2000 (so became un-current)
1st FP July 00 (checked with FBI; they say all is fine)
2nd FP Sept 00 (notice ignored after talking to local INS)
PD becomes current on Jan 10 2001
Called IIO Jan 11 (IIO says FP missing from INS records; checked with FBI and local INS; they say everything looks fine)
Called IIO Jan 19 (another IIO says all is fine; case has been assigned to an officer; I should hear something within 4 weeks)
Since then checked AVM 2/3 times per week
Case approved Feb 2nd 2001

I guess my case was assigned to officer somewhere between 11th and 19th Jan

Yes Ciba - we just discussed my case a few days ago. I became current on Jan 10th and within a month came the AVM approval.

Thanks for your wishes and Thanks for your great work.

And yes - I will enjoy THE freedom.
