Ciba,
Today I stamped my passport at Westminster INS office. It is indeed a better option than going to
the LA downtown office. I went in at around 6:00 AM in morning. There were 25 people in front of me.
The overall response was very good. I was out by 8:30 AM. I would suggest to go to Westminster
office.

Details : PD : May 99
             ND : 08/02/00
            EAD / AP : 11/19/2000
            I 485 approved : 2/12/01
            Passport stamped : 2/23/01
              EB2 /RIR India

One question : Where do they normally send the plastic card at lawyer office or at the home address
The original 485 approval notice was sent to the lawyer and I got courtesy copy at my home address.
Also can we travel in and outside of US on the temp. stamp on our passport.

The plastic card will come to your home address.
You can travel/work using the temp stamp.

gcwaiting congrats !! Did ur 485 approval say you have to goto westminister office ? I live in Burbank and downtowm LA office is closer but if i have a choice i will goto westminitser office...let me know

I will strongly recommend to go to Westminster office. I live in Long Beach and my notice says to go to LA office.
If you want to avoid big rush , i would suggest you to go to Westminter office. you can be ther at 6:00 AM and
the whole process will finish in 2-3 hrs.

What EB category were you in? Also, can u poat he first five digits of ur wac #? i.e. WAC-0x-xxx-?
