Choosing Service Center for EB1 EA

Are we required (or rather limited) to applying at a particular service center for any reason(s) or it's pretty much by our choice? I'm asking this because my law firm just filed at NSC where apparently things don't move rapidly and I want to know why they chose NSC. I should have done some research beforehand..oh well..

You cannot make choice where your petition should go. All petitioners should send their petitions to NSC. NSC will decide whether they want to keep with them OR transfer to TSC. What I heard is that if you efile then it might go to TSC but I am not sure about this.
