I came to US few months back on H1 with a small consulting company (30-40 consultants). The company looks good, pays in time and have decent infrastructure.

Now, I want to get GC process get started? Before finalising it with my current employer, shall I look for other options or without loosing time, I get srated with my current employer?

What are the things you have to look for in your employer if me priority is to get GC at the earliest rather then the current compensation. Is it important to see if they have any approved GC cases? GC approval or denial, how much it depends on the employer?

Find out how much prevailing wages will come for advertized position, i mean what occupation your employer wants to recruit for, if prevailing wages are less than or equal to what you are currently getting paid, your I-140 could be approved, you dont have to satisfy other two criterias (net income or net current assets) to get I-140 approved

Regarding choosing the right employer to do the GC Processing,, one more question.. is this correct that we can get GC processed faster if we get it done by a big reputed company as their full time employee vs working thru a body shopping consulting company.

More specifically, my employer is a small company with 30-40 H1 consultants, 3-4 tech recruiters as their full time employee. The company has decent infrastructure physical address, 3 room office, web-site etc.. but they do not have any project of their own. All the employess works for the clients and that too also through other vendors Good thing is the company owner is trust worthy and reliable. and I am thinking to go ahead withthem, but again, want to check if this kind of situation gets lower priority than green card being done by big corporates?
Is there any benefits of getting green card done by corporates?
