Children's names change after parents' naturalization

Hey all. New here.
My little big story:
1. Came to CA with a family through DV
2. Lived with green cards
3. I naturalized yesterday and changed my name via N-400, got the certificate of naturalization

Questions are:
1. How do we now change the names for the 6 y.o. kids? Not via N-600, it looks like. Can we do it via court and then get them the passports? Are there any other best practices? Need to change both names (improper transliteration from the original language) and surnames (just new).
2. Are naturalization certificates of any value for kids of their age? Do we really need them at $1,170 a piece ?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I think you would change it through court and then get them US passports. A Certificate of Citizenship is never mandatory.
