Child passport requirements

What is needed for child passport under 18 if the child is born outside USA but has GC.

From the passport form it says.

1) Parents naturalized certificate (Do we need to send the original or copies since we will be sending the original with our own passport applications).

2) Birth Certificate

3) GC ( do we need to send the original GC or copies, if original then do they send back the GC, we need the GC for N-600 which we will be filing soon).

Any previous experience in this matter.

Dept of State usually wants the originals of everything - they will be returned when the passport is issued. Perhaps you can ask the postoffice to submit all your applications in the same packet, and hence have all the paperwork arrive together.

They asked for our marriage certificate (after they had received everything else that they had asked for). It delayed processing by about a week. It wouldn't hurt to throw it into the package (in our case, my wife's citizenship was the determining factor, and my daughter has my last name -- which my wife doesn't, this might have been a factor).

Yes, they want originals of everything.
