Child need go to INS office for passport stamp?

My family I485 have been approved last week(RD July 21, ND AUg. 31). In my and my wife approval notices, we were asked to go Philly INS office for stamp. But in my son\'s notice, he has not been asked to go INS for stamp. It said it would take 120 days for his registration card. Anyone know
whether or not my son need go to INS office with us? Thank you! My son
is 13 years old now. Thank you!!

I think your son needs to go INS to get his passport stamped. I have the same case as you. I got my approval last week and I received the original approval notices from my lawyer today. I have a 2 yr old daughter. My attorney told me her passport also needs to be stamped which will be useful for travel purposes. If you do not have travel plans abroad then it is ok otherwise better get it stamped.

I have one question though. Have you taken the 2 photographs for your son ? My attorney feels it may be required but as per the notice it is not required. Any thoughts?
