Child Born abroad(India) to US Citizen!!

Me and my wife are US Citizens and my wife is currently pregnant and planning on delivering the baby in India. I would appreciate if any one has information regarding the process to get proper documentations to come back to US. What are the forms that needs to be filled out? How long does it take to process all documents and does the Baby need a passport to come back to the US?

Thanks for the link sv2707. It appears that USCs by jus sanguinis are considered "natural-born" and therefore are qualified to become president.

McCain's eligibility was never questioned during his 2000 campaign and I don't think that it will be in 2008.

I brought up this question in this thread so that the USCs planning their child's birth abroad can be aware of this fact. After all, you don't want to do anything that would curtail the benefits/opportunities of your children in the future.
