Chicago started processing in October ?

Hi,
Recently I was told by Chicago BCIS officer that they are processing AOS applications based on DV2005 starting in October. When I asked what about if my case number is not current, she told me that it does not matter what the case number I have.
I'm confused, because if my case number is AF45000, then they will keep my papers till September 2005 and then return saying that I'm unlucky! I will lost this time waiting nothing!
How could they process a case regardless its number ?
Please share your experience and suggestions...

i wonder whats going on there, i just learnt that a guy has 52,*** am afraid my # is 45,*** doest it really mean i have to wait till Sept?
i was told the more i call to pester for my date the earlier i will be given a date i dont know how far is the truth

Anybody on the board to clearify this issue pls ? am seek of this .
can we call KCC if it is true that somebody can get a date regadless of yr #?

the #s, are they total #s of AF or the computer randomly selected #s.

I filed my DV2005, and I am one of the unlucky winner, meaning I didnt get a chance to get green card. But since I am chasing this luck from the time of its establishment, I came to one of the forum, a girl name SONU posted. See if that is helpful for you guys.

she is basically saying she called the KCC office and being instructed in calling sometime in december. Read the forum, and you will get it what she is talking about. She also has her email address, or you can shoot her an email or so, she seems to be knowledegable, and she will better assist you all.
