CHICAGO: RIR Vs Non-RIR, EB2

Hey guys,

I am a new kid on the block in GC land. I am gonna be entering the GC process very soon. I will be filing for Labor in Chicago & am confused on RIR Vs Non-RIR: Which category to file under? I would like to get a sense of the difference in processing time for RIR vs Non-RIR, both SESA & DOL for the Chicago / Illinois region.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

According to the official processing times there\'s not a huge difference in Chicago

Federal is the same for both RIR and NON-RIR and state is working of RIR cases filed in April 2001 and NON-RIR cases filed in February 2001. Some areas (New York for example) have a huge difference.
