Cheques payable to ? for NEW 485 applications

Hello,

My lawyer made sure that Mine and My spouses 485 applications reached the USCIS by July 2nd morning and sent them as planned. But i came to know that they wrote the cheques payable to "US Citizenship and Immigration Services" and NOT "Department of Homeland Security". They say its OK and the USCIS will accept both.

Can you please confirm or deny with this. And is there is an issue, what should i do ?. Should i resend the application again ?.

check payble to USCIS/DHS

if u are filing the I-485 under July visa bulletin which USCIS is acception from 07/18 thru 08/17 with old fees, then check payble to "USCIS" or "Department of Homeland Security" both are acceptable per out attorney said.
So U are fine as ur lawer said.
