cheques cashed but no reciept

Myself and my wife had applied for ead extension. We had put two packets of our application and overnighted the package in a single envolope. My wife recieved the reciept notice on 11/15 but I did not.
The recept date was 11/06 and notice date was 11/07. The cheques where cashed on 11/12.

What should I do.

How long should I wait before I call them up.

Should I reapply. My current EAD expires on 27th March 04.

Please advice.

If your bank provides image of cleared checks then you can find out the case # from the back of it. I would suggest try this option first that way atleast you will know that they have put your application in their system.

It's "my wife and I." The "had" is redundant because "applied" already implies an action in the past.

When did u mailed your documents!!! It's been over 2 weeks i mailed my document for 3rd EAD, still to receive receipt. Checks are also not cleared#!%#$%#$%

I had mailed my application on 4th Nov 2003. My wife recived her reciept on 15th. I will get the cheques from the bank as adviced.

got receipt

Applied EAD/AP renewal (thru Lawyer) on Oct 30th and Got receipts last week for both and of course checks are cashed too.
 
Did you send personal checks or certified checks? Also were they seperate for each of you or same check.

I am planning to apply on my own aswell.
