Chennai H4-H1 stamping qs

Hi Guys,

My wife had to rush to Hyderabad for some urgent work. She had come to US on H4, but started working with a H1 later. She will be stamping the H1 visa in Chennai. Would really appreciate if somebody can help me in letting me know how long does it take to have the H1-B stamp.

After handing over to TTS, in how many days the consulate reply with an approval/query?

Do they give an open date for the interview or they call on a specific day?

Can someone explain his experience in Chennai consulate recently. please.

Did you try to get stamping, if yes then pls post your expereince.
Also can we use drop box for H4-->H1 stamping, TT service site is not very clear about this.?

Now a days its taking around 3 weeks at Chennai consulate...
