How important is the person's resume and the work experience letters from prev employers? The H1B is not in an IT field, but for a medical residency position and the candidate works in a hospital. All other documents are clean but it is a pain to get work experience letters from prev employers. The H1B petition did not rely on prev work experience anyway.

Whether you need exp. letters or not depends on the aproved LCA for this H1 position.

If the LCA didn't mandate any prior work experience, you don't need any letters.
