Checks not cashed yet. any info????

Hey all, im new on here, I am a LPR. On july 24th i mailed my I-130s for my wife and son. I know your saying why, itll take 5 years, but i also at the same time applied for my citizenship and will upgrade there applications once i naturalize. anyways, i mailed the package on july 24 and still the checks have not been cashed. does anyone know how long it takes, because i need it cashed before i spend the money from my account. i filed with NSC. any other LPRs that filed recently for there spouses or children.
 
LOL. :D Just don't spend the money...

Right now USCIS is overwhelmed with applications and it is taking around 4-6 weeks for checks to be cashed if not more.

why don't join the july and august thread that their checks are not cashed and have not received receipts, that way, you can encourage one another and i think if you spend the money, USCIS and your bank will charge you!

Don't even think about spending the money. If the checks bounce, that's the end of your Petition. Resist the Green.
