checks for I-485 and FP

Hi, Should we write seperate checks for I-485 (255) and FP(55) or one check (255+50=305).
Can I pay FP fee when I am told to do FP. I will do I140/I485 cocurrent filling, so I do not know if my I140 can go through yet.

Answer to First Question

From Page 2 under Section titled 'Fee' of form i-485:

"You may submit one check or money order for both the application and fingerprinting fees."

So the answer is both are OK.

(I submitted two separate checks.)
