Checking status

Has anyone heard of INS tracking how many times we check our case status either thruough their website or through phone? Does this adversely affect the case or trigger RFE?

I heard this before but somehow doesn't seem right. But just wanted to make sure!

To the best of my knowledge, no problem with checking the status as many times as we want.

That is not the case. People check status just to find out how far things have progressed. No one can differentiate based on that fact that one is tracking information.
