Checking status of FP with FBI

Hi All,

My FP was done on 9/25/04. The online status message still says "you application was received on ..........". From the forum it appears that the online message changed for several people when their FP was done.
How does one check the status of FP with FBI? What is their phone number?

I just check my FP status.

hey cbeking, I just called the number you gave, and I specifically asked her that, what do you do with the FPs, she said they wont do anything they will just send it back to VSC, also for Name check she gave another number(202-324-2399), I called that number message was saying they wont accept any calls and asking to email to: fbinnct@ic.fbi.gov, with all the information.

Now what I want to know is, when do we get the message like "your FP are received and processing has been resumed",, will this be just when that FP dept which took our FP send/mails our FP to VSC or will it even do some kind of checking on our back ground at all?????

Please guys clarify me on this.

"Processing Resumed.." means FBI do BOTH ..."FP clearance" as well "Name Check" also?

rsannu2k.. am asking same question but nobody gave me "straight answer"...On this question, either was asked to refer some url OR was told that FP & Name Check are 2 diffrent things & look at Rahulkumars mail OR "Name Check" is started immediatly after I-485 filing etc...but no "Clear cut" answer...

No one is straight to tell that when someone gets the message "Processing Resumed.." means FP check is done & "Simultaneously" Name Check is also done by FBI...and due to this there is lots of confusion...

Pl some one will answer this question clearly regarding "Processing Resumed.." means FBI do BOTH ..."FP clearance" as well "Name Check" also...
 
How many days does it get to get into the FBI database?

My spouse did FP2 on 12/28.

We called today to the FBI phone number.

They said, its still not in the database and asked us to call after 2.5 weeks.

Our first FP results were sent to VSC just in a couple of days..

Does it ever happen that FP does not reach to FBI from the processing center? My spouse did it in Manchester.

How long should we wait before taking any action?
