Checking status of fingerprints

I called FBI and they said my fingerprints and my wifes were sucessfully completed. Does that mean everything is ok ? Do I need to check with VSC too?

Hi,

I called FBI for my fingerprinting confirmation. They said they have not received the FPs yet. I did FP in Boston on 3/7/01. (Note: My appointment was scheduled on 3/6/01-but INS was closed for storm). I heard Boston sends FPs electronicall and it takes less than 2 days to get approved. Please advise.

I did my FP earlier than scheduled and FBI told me that FPs are of good quality and sent them to INS. Is that good enough and not worry about FP anymore, Thanks!

Geebee. I just found out that I could call the FBI directly to get the status of my fingerprints. I called them. I went in for fingerprinting on October 25th. They received it on October 30, and processed it and sent it back to INS on the 31st. So, wait for another day or two. You will know. Good luck

I am still waiting for I-485 approval. Filed April, 2000.
